Eleonora Boi — the 39‑year‑old wife of former NBA star Danilo Gallinari, now playing in Puerto Rico — suffered a shark bite while wading near the shore at the Carolina Resort in Puerto Rico on July 31, 2025. She was pregnant with their third child at the time. Thankfully, both she and the unborn baby are reported to be safe and in stable condition.
