“Red Devil in Demand: European Giants Circle as Manchester United Forward Faces Shock Exit”….

Manchester United’s pursuit of a new striker dominated headlines this summer, but the arrival of Benjamin Šeško appears to have concluded that search, handing manager Rúben Amorim a promising attacking option.
However, Šeško’s signing has sparked new questions—chief among them, the future of Rasmus Højlund. The 22-year-old struggled last season, netting just four goals in 23 Premier League appearances and failing to provide a single assist.
Meanwhile, another striker, Joshua Zirkzee, could also be on the move before the transfer window closes. Zirkzee joined the squad last season after a solid campaign with Bologna, where he tallied 11 goals and four assists in Serie A. Despite limited impact at United so far, his intelligent movement and link-up play have shown promise.
According to CaughtOffside, United are open to loaning Zirkzee out to give him more regular playing time. PSV Eindhoven and Napoli have reportedly expressed strong interest.
“Sources close to the agents industry have informed CaughtOffside that PSV see Zirkzee as the perfect candidate and are preparing to open talks with Man United over a potential loan deal,” reported Ahad Shaukat. “While Amorim values Zirkzee as part of his squad, United are willing to consider a loan move if it ensures consistent minutes, a stance that has attracted PSV and Napoli as the deadline looms.”
United have overhauled their forward line in recent months, bringing in Šeško, Matheus Cunha, and Bryan Mbeumo, which could limit Zirkzee’s opportunities.
A temporary switch to the Netherlands or Italy would give the young striker a valuable chance to continue his development, without United having to part with a high-upside talent permanently. If Amorim is satisfied with his attacking depth—even amid uncertainty over Højlund’s role—a loan move for Zirkzee may be the perfect solution for all parties involved.
